And in Other Good News
I would just like to announce that I have officially beaten The New Super Mario Bros.!
It took a crazy long time, but I finally did it, this morning on the train. It was awesome. I thought I wasn’t going to ever finish it, and I was down to my second-to-last life, but then, there I was, fighting off Bowser and resucing the Princess!
Hawesome.

Good job! I beat it this weekend! Although, I’m still trying to open world 3 & 7?
Would you like a hint?
Jason already looked up the hints online for us. Annoying boy beat the game in one weekend!! He is much better at it than I am…
I’ll have to call you tonight to fill you in on all my dental work…
Oh good…
Dental work…
I can’t help but notice that you did not in fact call us…
I already thought you were excellent at that game. It took me months! It took you weeks. And it took him days. Seems unfair… for him, that is. We enjoyed it for longer :)
Yes, I did not call. I fell asleep on my couch and when I woke up it was too late to call you… Sorry!!
I have never, ever, beaten a super mario game except for SM World for the original Game Boy.
Congratulations!
I have, however, defeated all of the Zelda games :D
Have you now. I’m slowly (and boy do I mean slowly) trodding through Twilight Princess. Three dungeons down, infinity and beyond to go. Some stupid parts of the game have taken me so long it’s embarassing.
I should have excluded TP since I do not, as yet, have a WII.
Aw…! That’s sad for you! It’s pretty awesome.
It is also, in some cases, excessively difficult. From what I read, it is much easier on the Game Cube. They didn’t quite playtest the point-and-shoot nature of the Wii-mote. There’s one mini-quest early on that took me more than thirty tries. And you have to do it to get to the next dungeon. The dungeon it opened up was significantly easier. Mike and I guess that without having to point-and-shoot to use your bow and your boomerang, it would be two, maybe three tries. I also read that spin attacks are easier on the Game Cube because you don’t have to wait for your sword to make it’s happy noise through the Wii-mote’s speakers.
Still, it is fun. I did give up on it for a while during my infinite attempts to save the god-damned Zora prince, but when I came back and finally was rewarded by his dead mother, I went back to enjoying the game immensely.
Man, I wish I was playing it now…
Well, I just paid off one credit card…one more card to go and then I can, perhaps, get a Wii by then.
I got Princess Peach for my birthday and its super fun!!! I highly recommend it…
